Life of a Success

Life is a series of events that leads you either to a happier life or a life filled with regrets and sadness.

The best way to have a life filled with fulfilment and happiness is by going through every stage in life, knowing that there is actually no shortcut to success.

If it takes you 5 years to become a master in what you do, thats how long it will take you to achieve your success.

But success is measured at different stages of life and if you don't pass the first stage, you definitely won't be able to pass the next.

Don't jump up, grow up

If you jump to achieve success, you'll definitely fall back to where you jumped from. It's a law!

It's important to know that money is a tool and a weapon , the better you become at managing your tool and using your weapon (money) to make executions, the richer you'll become.

Every money that comes into your hand is a seed and has a purpose. If you don't fulfill that purpose or plant some of that seed, that money might not grow.

spend what is left after saving and investing, don't save what is left after spending.

You've been on Steemit.com for more than a month now and probably must have made some little cash for yourself, the question is ;what have you done with those money ?

A good farmer doesn't eat every corn he harvests, he saves some for the next planting season.

What personal plans or projects do you have that could increase or multiply what you have gotten from steemit.com?

Don't spend above your budget

I had a discussion with @tojukaka the other day in his hotel room and according to him, towards the ending of 3rd quarter of 2017, he had enough money to buy a car , but there were some investments he was supposed to make before buying a car and buying a car had to wait until investments were secured first.

Did he have the money? Yes! Did he buy it immediately he got the money? No! Be wise.

The designers, expensive clothes and phones you're longing for won't add value to you, No! A thousand times No. You add value to what you wear.

If Michael Jackson was still alive and he's using the same phone you're currently using. if for any reason, the both of you decides to sell your phones at the same time (assuming all conditions of the phones were equal , the price won't be the same, even if yours were looking fresher than Michael's , his price will still be higher than yours. Why? Because Michael gave the phone value.

Why do you think big companies pay so much for celebrities to advertise their goods and services? Doesn't that ring a bell? That phone company's value is not complete without you brother.

Note: I'm not against buying expensive things, I get them too,but I'll never spend above my budget, if my money is not enough, I'll wait.

Be so good at what you do, to the extent that people cannot do without you

Spend what is left after investing. invest and save to the point that your spare money can take you for a whole year, if your current source of income dies off.

Don't spend above your budget. the fact that a fellow steemian is using an iPhone doesn't you should use one too, his bus stop on this road to success is not same as yours.

To some people, success is when they hit 1 Million , to some other people, success is when they hit 10 million.

Define your success benchmark and start working towards it.

• Set goals:

Set a realistic goal that is 20% of 50% higher than what you've achieved before. Make sure your goals are realistic and achievable.

Don't set goals to bring the sun down to the earth, we don't want it, it's not realistic.

• Segment your goals :

Success is at different stages in life: your success every hour, everyday and every months piles up to become a big success. One day of failure brings you one step backwards (I.e if you give up after you fail) or takes you one step forward ( i.e you decide to learn from your mistakes) .

So break down your goals and set out what you'll do each day to help you achieve your goals.

Money lost can be recovered but time lots cannot be recovered, every second counts.

• Stay close to your inspiration

Many people don't know why I had to set notifications for @tojukaka's Facebook post, you don't know! Every post from that guy is value. It will either bless you or make you get more money or more knowledge.

Personally, my major source of inspiration is from my church, each time I go to church, I literally get this feeling that I've been topped up with some extra energy or some kind of files have been installed into my system. I sincerely don't know how to explain...

But the bottom line is...

starve your distractions and feed yourself with constant inspiration

Be drunk with so much inspiration that you can barely even recognise discouragement when it comes around. .

Be crazy to the point that when people are sad because of a problems, you'll be happy because you can only see solutions.

• Keep the right friends

My people, if you have a friend that has never ever talked to you about business or investment, please stay away from that friend , they'll make you poor.

I know some people will be like....

eh must everyone go into business, I don't know how to do business,. can't I just be myself, eh Sammy, can't I?

Oh Yes you can, you can be yourself. that's why I'm avoiding you because I don't wanna get broke.

I don't wanna be myself. I don't like my comfort zone.

Yea, I know there is time for everything, but if your time for having fun is greater than your time for creating value, then the distance between us will be great as well, like the great Wall of China.

• Make the right investment.

I find people make lots of money and lose them in one day. Please and please make sure you make proper research before going into any business.

The fact that Your brother or friend is prospering in a business doesn't mean it will be good for you too.

The right business to do is the the business that is solving a need in your society.

Look out for a need and reach out to meet that need. It might not be profitable at first, but with time, it will fly.
