Hello! I haven't posted on my blog for a while, Exams and other activities has really dawned on me, leaving my blog attracts cobwebs and I can't watch them take over my blog. Lol!

Today, I will be focussing on time and opportunites. First, I'll like to give a brief definition of what both words mean.

Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole
Oppourtunity is a time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.

From these above definitions will can simply see the relationship between time and opportunities. Time is what can give rise to opportunities and once a time of an given opportunity elapses such an opportunity also elapses/ended.

In a lay's man language, time is usually a period, or a range between the start to the end of something while opportunities is a chance given or that occurs that one can use to do something or performed a given task .

I will love us to ask ourselves these questions

How well do we manage/spent our time? Do will take our time for granted?

I will always say that in every time there is a given opportunity. I know we all might have had of the popular saying.

Opportunity comes but once

That isn't just a saying but the reality of life. At any given time there is something that we can do to utilize it that is to say that we shouldn't
take our time for granted cos there is an opportunity for us to use that time for something beneficial... The way we utilize our time matters a lot, most times we do things that I will call costly mistakes with our time that make us loose opportunities.

Steps We Can Take To Utilize Our Time And Opportunities Effectively

•Stay away from anything distracting

At times we might be doing a thing or two that can make us loose focus on what we ought to do. It might be your favorite movie that always get you engrossed or a video game. You got to cut off that irrelevant thing you have been used to and start making good use of your time. Distractions can also be humans too who are those around you, are they effective to your time usage or they are effective to your time being useless. I do have a friend who normally loves visiting during 4pm which was my reading time and anytime she comes around I won't be able to read that book I was intending to read and my opportunity to read that book will just go without me utilising it. I have to let her know in an appropriate manner and politely that 4pm in some days are my special time I love to be alone and ever since I have been utilising my time to achieve my opportunity.

•Know what you want and go for it

There is nothing as beautiful as getting intone with what you really what. You can use your time and opportunities to achieve a lot. Firstly ask your self what do I want to achieve today or this week ? After coming in terms with what you want. Start making plans. After making plans don't just sit around make a move be bold enough to take that step and you will surely be wowed with the result you are going to get.

•Draw/create a time table
After making that plans you need a time table that will help you establish it properly. Make spare time in the time table that you can use to do random stuffs and co.

•Don't procrastinate
Procrastination is one deadly killer that has ruin so many destinies and take away opportunities. If it's a time for you to carryout a plan and the urge for you to continue watching that favorite TV series comes please resist it. Carryout your plans first the movie you can always watch at any spare time of yours.
You think it's already late and you can't do it that day and you decided to put it in your heart that you will do it the next day. No please stop you got to get up/rise and make a move even though you weren't able to do all today you did something and you will surely be inspired to do more.

Time and opportunities are rare gifts and we should try to utilize them effectively and efficiently.

We should always try to remember that a time passed can never be regained and an opportunity lost can never come back.

Are you feeling down because you haven't been utilising your time well enough. Well it's not too late there are lot of time and opportunities ahead of you try to make use of them. Let your yesterday becomes a lesson to you.
Brush up as we start a new week start with a positive change and start making appropriate use of your time.
