The Power Of Creating Value
Have you ever seen rich people looking for whom to be their friends? Or seeking business partners or associates, whom to marry, where to go, positions to head, followers to have or perhaps stewards to serve them? I guess the answer is a big NO!
Rich people don't follow but people follow them. Imagine how much time we dedicate arguing or discussing about some personalities in our societies even when we have never set our eyes on them. Most people go as far as fighting one another just because of someone somewhere. Very many of us have done this in one way or the other.
Do you wonder why you go restless or even hungry fighting for someone who doesn't know you at all? I guess almost everyone of us care less about them knowing us because of course they may not get to meet us in lifetime.
We love them all and sometimes hate them for personal reasons but despite the fact we hate or do not like them much we can't do without talking about them. Why do you live without forgetting them even when most people can't recall the faces or the memories of their loved ones? We sing their names every now and then, we put their names all around us, we have their pictures hang right in our homes, we chant them consciously or unconsciously.
How many of this so called rich people or famous people came to us to seek our indulgence? To demand our love, to ask our favor, to plead our pledge, to demand our consent, to seek our following? I haven't had any visit of such and i'd guess that's almost applicable to vast number of people. But what makes them so attractive?
Most famous or rich people re not really handsome or beautiful but they become so in our eyes. Does it mean beauty isn't a credential to gain attention? Well, it is but how much attention would beauty get you and from who or for what reasons? Rich people got so much attention because of their value not because of their looks.
So, beauty without value is absolute a waste of time. In fact one would suffer for being beautiful when there isn't anything to maintain it. Rich men creates values that speaks far beyond their jurisdiction. They become so famous that kids that were born without their knowledge talks about them even when they re dead. The works of the rich speaks words that can't be erase for ever.
Why do we seek people's attention instead of creating values that would attract attention to us? Do you know financial institutions beg on rich men to borrow or invest with them? How many times do you receive special visit from your financial institutes just because they need your money or re willing to borrow you money? So rare to be frank, in fact they wouldn't come because you haven't shown the value of attraction.
My admonition is for you to seek value first, when value is created attention is inevitable. People would trill to become friends, partners etc with you. You need value to speak a word that would shake the word, when you have value then you have all. Be more valuable and not just beautiful or handsome of course it wouldn't give you a cup of coffee.
