Your Attitude Will Determine How Far You Will Go In Life

Several individuals have missed their goodwill/luck/shine/helpers/breakthrough because of their attitudes. This goes to show that good attitude is a very important attribute of man. Once people perceive that you have a very bad attitude, it becomes difficult for them to associate themselves with you.

In fact everyone has been talking about attitude, so you want to ask what attitude is?. Attitude can be defined in several ways. Reading a book titled "The winning attitude" some few years back, I understood that attitude;

• is usually an advance person of who we are
• has its roots inside and not usually outside
• can be our worst enemy and some other times our best friend.
• is more truthful, consistent and honest than our own true words
• just like magnet draws individuals to us or repels people away from us
• until expressed cannot be contented
• keeps the records of our past and manifests in the present and determines our future.

This goes to show here that if you want to use an event or an instrument/atribute to know how far you can go in life, then you need to work on your attitudes/behaviours. You need to make develop them to be like that of the one and only Jesus who walked on this earth and died for our sins. Philipians 2:5 says that;

1. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus

Jesus Christ is our role model and the best model of attitude we should portray. In the 8verse of the Bible passage above, it says

And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!

You must have also heard that your attitude determines your attitude several times right?, but how many times have you made conscious efforts to improve on your attitude
?. How many times, have you actually refused to think about yourself alone but think of others around you. You may not be rich enough to give but you can create a positive atmosphere that will bring joy to people around you.

Yeah!! You may even be wealthy and decide to be humble and selfless, providing the needs of people in a society or contributing your quota to the growth and development of your community just like SirKnight. You, you and you can develop that attitude to really bless people with your message. You are an example just Like our Christ and Saviour Jesus, therefore ensure at all times you remove your hand from anything that will not give Him glory.
