The act of help rendered to others are things that are really important in the life of a man and most times it cannot be forgotten by the individual that the help has been rendered unto.
Some people go through a lot of hard times and they do not get anyone to help them come out of the situation, but a healthy act of help rendered by an individual makes all the difference.

The Times When You Need to Render Help

The act of rendering help is a thing that should not be determined by time and period because it is something we need to do at all times. Whenever we see someone who needs help or assistance in any way or any area, we should always be ready to assist.

What About The Good We Do Not Get Paid For?

The good we do to people are sometimes not paid back by the people we do them too because they feel that it is their right and you choose to help them without them asking you for help, so they do not even turn back to say they are grateful for what you have done to them.

Some people are really like that, they do not like to appreciate the people who have helped them in the past which to me is a very wrong idea, it is very good that you learn to show appreciation to those who have helped you in the past even if not for any reason, for the fact that they were there for you at the point when you needed someone to help you.

Keep Doing Good

The fact that some set of people do not appreciate the good you have done for them in the past does not mean that you should be hindered from doing good to any other person.

I think one important thing that should be learned about giving is that whatever we do to people should never be expected back.

Do Not Give on the Basis of Returns

I learned from my mum that the type of help that is really a good one to render is one that you do not even expect a thank you back in return because the people in this generation feel that been helped is a right that they deserve to get which is something that is not fair.

Do not expect appreciation or payback from anyone you render help too because it is really not something you can get back.
There was a point in my life when my mum found a lady who was really heavy and had no one to help her, she got abandoned by the man that got her pregnant after she refused to get rid of it, she had no one to help her and she was stranded, at the point my mum found her she was almost at the point of committing suicide.

My mum found her and brought her home, she became a part of our family, she gave birth successfully in our home and we began to call her Aunt.
After some time she told us she wanted to get a house of her own and my mum was happy to hear that she could even think of living on her own.

She then began to spread false rumor about our family, all that she did I cannot say here because there are things I do not like to remember, I wanted to go and meet her and speak some sense to her head but my Mum told me to ignore her and she said to me: Tobi, we do not help because we need appreciation from the people we help or because we feel that they should never betray us, instead we offer help to people because we know it is the right thing to do and because we are people of love who have been called to love.
