Everyone made her look like a clown
She became a laughing stock in town
Everyone tried to put her under
She almost gave in and surrender
She looked inward and drew strength
One more push, one more breath
She summoned the courage from within
And charted her own course
She knew she had to take the risk
She listened to who her mind told her she is
Not what everyone said she was
She stepped into uncharted waters
Now, she is sprouting like the flowers
Well done, dear daughter. I love you endlessly. Oh yes, I have a lot of amazing daughters that I can proudly call friends and age is nothing when the heart is willing.
