Don't Sweat It
I have tried to study humans but every time I try, I find even more shocking revelations hahaha. Someone once joked and said, ”The more I come to know humans, the more I have come to admire my dog”. As funny as that might sound, there is a bit of truth in it. It’s hard to find loyalty because everyone is busy tending their fields and they would do anything just to have their way.
We need to understand that we can’t control what people think of us or what their opinion is about us. We can’t go about trying to please everyone because that is a clear path to failure. We need to let them deal with whatever they have in their heart; just make sure your own conscience is clear enough and not dead.
One thing I have come to understand about humans is that they will always do what’s best for them and they don’t care about whose ox is gored. They don’t mind making you feel guilty all because they are trying to get their own way.
My sweet friend texted me today asking her what she needs to change about herself because she felt a lot of people have left her already. I laughed inside because I think she is just getting to understand how a human being behaves. I had to tell her the little I have come to know about humans. Life doesn’t come with instructions, so we all live and learn as we grow and go through life.
I told her she didn’t push anyone away. Naturally, people that never wanted to stay in the first place would look for the smallest of things to hold on to so they can leave. People that want to stay around you will stick with you no matter what and if they reached their threshold and they had to leave, they will let you know why because it is not about who wins, but they have your best interest at heart. If they treat you like a joke, watch them leave like it is funny. Never beg anyone to stay in your life and never forget that relationships do expire.
