Who do you turn to when the spark wades?
Do you look inward or to those who throws shades?
Some, their words are slick as oil but cuts like the blades
Their soul is so dark just like the Hades
No other person to motivate you other than you
Rather than seek for motivation from without
Why not look within and draw strength
Most people try to draw their strength from others
What happens when they intentionally withdrew?
What happens when the one who is meant to make you happy
Turned around to be the one to make you sad?
You will withdraw and become who you are not?
You will forget who you are and accept what the world says you are?
Yes, we all at some points need validation from people
True motivation comes from within you though
No one can motivate you better than you would
No one can love you as much as you will love yourself
Sometimes we accept the love we think we deserve
We are treated just as we present ourselves to others
When you are fired up and undeterred
Others fall in line with you other than the other way round
Learn to draw strength from yourself
Let the motivation from others (if it comes) be an addition
