Travelling with storms? Never Stop!

Her Honda roared into life,
Eating up the tared road,
Like a cheeter after a prey,
The journey would be smooth,
Like the morning dew on leafs.

Hardy did she know she had a company,
He was perched on the back seat like he barely exist.
An old man with white hair,
Just like white wool,
His garment pure,
Whiter than snow.
He could pass for an angel.
Only angels don't grow old,
Or do they?
Perhaps he is a god.

His company reassured her,
She felt safe,
Like a cub,
In company of a lioness.
The journey should be smooth
She thought without fear.

Far ahead the road,
A storm raged,
Her head ached,
How could this be?
A stormy rain began.
Trees bent by storm threatens to collapse,
Bigger vehicles beside the road had surrendered,
There can't be a way forward in this turbulence they thought.

She applied the brakes to stop the car.
Instantly incurring the wrath of the white god,
"Don't stop!" he barked at her.
"But there is a raging storm," she protested.
"Don't stop," he repeated.
"There is whirlwind ahead," she insisted.
"Don't stop," he maintained.
"There are trees fallen on the road," she screamed.
"Don't stop," he said calmly.

She continued moving,
Slowly and Steadily,
With a fearful heart and shaky hands.
She pressed ahead,
Not long,
her car ascended a hill.
She bust into a new clime,
The weather was pleasant,
The road was clear,
And once more the journey was smooth.
"Park the car," ordered the white god.
She parked and they both came out of the car.
The white god beckoned on her to look down at the road they left behind.
All the vehicles that stopped because of the storm remained on the same spot.
The storm remained there with them.

Moral of the poem

In whatever you do, no matter how bad things get, do not stop.
There would surely be rainy days, storms would surely come, do not stop.
Make sure you see possibilities in impossibilities and abilities in disabilities.
Keep pressing ahead till you break out of your storm. There is surely a brighter day ahead. Tough times do not last but tough people do. Be tough.
