How can I be single and useful
- Be a solution to the problem of your family. Look into your family and identity those issues that are not right and make a change.
Are you from a polygamous home?
Do people marry out of wedlock in your family line?
Is your family known for a certain bad attribute? As the saying goes " that's the way they do in that family", like mother like daughter or like father like son".
You dont have to make the same mistake but make a change. Being in a polygamous home doesn't mean you cannot marry and remain with one partner. It's just a choice. You can change that family name. In my family, all the young ladies I've grown up to know got married out of wedlock. Meaning they got married after giving birth to one or two children. Some to the same man and some to a different man. And I was the next grown up girl. Everybody were looking up to me including my father. Saying i should make them proud.
This was a problem i needed to solve. I hate polygamy and seeing my people birthing without marriage was a big concern to me and i made up my mind to make a better difference. That was how God helped me solve that problem and it marvelled everyone.
You know your family better than i do. Dont follow the wrong lifestyle in your family rather you can change it.
2. Be a solution to your leader's problem

What skill do You have? Are you making a good use of it?
Joseph suggested to Pharaoh what to do in preparation for the 7years of plenty and famine and his suggestions was accepted. He was a solution to Pharaoh's problem.
Your singlehood is a time to solve problems around you.
3. Be a solution to you nation.
There are lot of problems in our nation today and the nation needs you to solve its problem. The solution to these problems can bring you a name. Making you useful to the nation .
We all sit down and complain about our nation instead of looking for solution.
Our leaders are growing old and the youth keep saying what is he doing in politics and I ask what are you waiting for? If you are politically wise, if know you can bring solutions to our nation's problem , what are you waiting for? Stand up and become useful. Share useful ideas. Make impact in your school , church, society, and environment. It may be a spiritual, physical, social or academic problems. You are there to solve it. Don't just sit and watch do something.
Don't spend all your single life thinking about marriage. Add value to your life and those around you. Marriage is good but it will useless to go into marriage without anything to offer. If you are empty and go into marriage you will not add value to that marriage and it will be boring.
Learn something new everyday. Be active. Teach others what you learn and practice it.
