EVALUATE YOUR CHOICES AND ANALYZE THE OUTCOME

Doing the right thing at the right time sincerely depend on ones choice but a very crucial choice in life, our choices in life will either mar or make us and it must be noted that the best choice won't come forward to reveal itself to you; you are the one to go for it.

Doing the right thing at the right time is so easy to say than do due to the fact that nothing will tell you Hey!!! This is the right time to do me, but yet it’s still expected of you and crucial to your exploitation to do the right thing at the right time; so how do you know the right thing to do?

Knowing the right thing to do at the right time is so easy because firstly, life will always bring choices your way so its left to you to use your insight (mind eye) to analysis and determine which one is more suitable for you at that exact moment but mind you the suitable one might not be the best one and that's where choice evaluation comes in.

Choice evaluation

Choice evaluation is just the act of determining the value/worth, merit and significant of the available choices in other to know which one is best suitable to choose at the exact moment.

It’s just the process of taking a quick glimpse into the future outcome of all the available choices

For instance

I'm a student of urban and regional planning at Ladoke Akintola University of technology (LAUTECH) and I just left the class around 4pm after a stressful day full of lectures but on getting to my hostel I receive a text from the class rep that we are giving an assignment to design a neighborhood design and we are to submit before 7pm on the same day but presently am tired and having slight headache but at the same time the assignment is 10marks; so what should I do?

My choice evaluation

Judging from the scenario the most suitable choice for me there is to get to my hostel eat and rest because physically and mentally am already exhausted but that will not only cost me ordinary 10marks, it might cost me an A or B in that course or even affect my semester G.P and on the long run affect my final result because firstly, there is no exam for the course and its just 10 of such assignment per semester and secondly judging from the lecturer-in-charge previous behavior he might not have interest in how aesthetically sound the design is but rather just our obedience and perseverance level.

So the best choice after my evaluation is to go back to the studio and do the assignment which at that particular time is not the suitable one for my health.

It must be noted that the best choice might not always leave you at the comfort zone presently but on the long run it will sincerely worth it. Evaluating your choices before making them is the best remedy to not make wrong choices because you get to know the outcome even before you make such choice.
