- Curiosity. A self-led individual is thirsty for knowledge. He wants to know more, wants to explore.
- Self-honesty and integrity. Don't be more concerned about the consequences of error than the error itself.
- Accountability. Without this, no growth can occur. Make yourself accountable to someone.
- Self Discipline. You must model the right priorities.
- Humility. This is the ability to learn from anyone regardless of their age or position.
- Courage. Courage is not the absence of fear but acting despite it.
- Self Compassion. Stop self-criticism and condemnation.
- Assertiveness. Don't be aggressive but not passive either. Be passionate
- Willingness. A self-led person is willing to submit in order to be useful.
- Inner Faith - True leaders, despite the internal conflict, somehow still find the strength to believe enough in themselves.
