CHARITY OR GENEROSITY?

If we give when we have, we are generous, if we give when we also need it, we are being charitable.
Currently we confuse these terms a lot, without really knowing the meaning of them.

Charity is a personal attitude that implies understanding others, especially in relation to the suffering of others. A person is charitable if he internally feels the impulse to help the sufferer and that impulse is translated into some concrete action (an alms, for example). Charity is a concept deeply rooted in the Christian religion. In fact, it is one of the three theological virtues: faith, hope and charity. From the Christian point of view, charity is related to the love of God.
GENEROSITY:
It is a value or trait of personality characterized by helping others in an honest way without expecting anything in return. A person who practices generosity is often described as generous. The generous person thinks about sharing what he has with others less fortunate. Their behavior is based on recognizing the needs of others and trying to satisfy them according to their possibilitie. To be generous you do not need to give large amounts of money to organizations or people. Sometimes, being generous is just a matter of giving a greeting or providing help.
The value of generosity
Generosity in social relationships is usually appreciated and is considered as a trait of kindness among people. Like many social values, it is related to empathy and the action of 'putting oneself in the place of the other'.
Bet How will children spend their dollar ... on an ice cream, or on an act of generosity? hehehe
