Regardless of where you are in life, who you are, what you've done, and how you feel about yourself, it's never too late to have your Day 1 and start fresh.. As the title says, your future is a clean slate. Even if you think you've lived a 1/10 life so far, you can put 10/10 effort going forward and see a huge difference from where you are right now. It'll take time, as all things do, but you may as well start. A week from now you could be a week into a whole list of new daily habits - eating better, working out, learning a new skill; whatever you want to improve on, you can get there. It'll take time. It could take a lot of time depending on what it is, but it's worth it. You know it's worth it.

A month from now you could have a completely different mindset. That's what changing your habits does.

I feel like these days I see so many people who have given up and resigned themselves to mediocrity. They've essentially come to terms with the 'fact' that things will always be the way they are, and coast through just waiting to die. That's not a fact. That's a decision.

As a great black Irish inmate once said, "That's all it takes really. Pressure, and time". Changing your small habits and being consistent with the changes is ultimately the key to growing as a person and getting to where you want to get.

I don't know you. I don't know your goals or your aspirations, but I guarantee that whatever they are, you can take the first step towards them today if you want to. And I suspect most of you know what that first step is.

I've always believed there are 2 versions of a person - the person they are now, and the person they could become if they worked with what they have. Visualize the very best possible version of yourself; the best you can achieve with what you have. How do they look? How do they think or behave or dress and how do they spend your time? You could be that person. You have far more potential than you think.

TL;DR

  • Small changes in your habits lead to huge results over time

  • You have far more potential than you think

  • You have far more control of who you are and where you end up than you think

  • Start by starting

  • It's never too late to start fresh and fix everything (for the most part)
