Let this be the moment that you decide to act. Let it be the moment that you choose to finally change your life. It's time to shift from "I'm going to" to "I am."

Stop waiting for whatever it is that you think you're waiting for because it isn't coming. There's no big moment that changes your life. Stop waiting for a sign. If you want a sign, this is it. If you needed a wakeup call, this is it.

It's so easy to get caught in the trap of thinking, "This can wait. I can do this next week/month/year," but that day never comes. If you're looking for an excuse, you will find one.

You can turn your life around at any moment. All you have to do—in fact, all you can do— is decide that this is the moment to change and act on that decision. You are in control of your actions and your life. Act like it.

You start at the base of a mountain. There are almost an infinite number of rocks you can hold onto- none of them are the "right rock" or the "wrong rock" to get in motion. Some of them might break off when you try to grab them and make you lose footing, unsure of where to put your feet next, but you'll find another rock and will make it work. It might not be as big or as comfortable, but there will be other rocks.

You might encounter a climber below you - taking a similar path up, but you notice he's grabbing onto different rocks along the way than you did. It'd be foolish to tell him some of those rocks aren't the right rocks, he's still climbing. Instead you just admire how he's making it up just like you, finding his own way.

At some points you might need a break from reaching and grasping, your neck tiring from looking up. So you stop and retain your footing where you are for a little and admire the view and how far you've climbed, and realize how many other climbers are taking an infinite number of different ways up the same mountain you are.

But- if you hold onto these rocks for too long, you'll begin to shake. You'll become stiff, your muscles will ache, and you won't be getting any higher. To continue your journey with the limited amount of sunlight and supplies you have, it is necessary to let go of those rocks that let you breathe and enjoy a beautiful and unique view- and move on to the rocks calling out to you from above.

I consider myself an old experienced man with a young soul. :)
I remember that it takes me a lot of time to find my real purpose in life, to find the motivation that pushes you forward step by step to accomplish your goals.
when I decided to be an entrepreneur I was a mess, unorganized fella. Then I started to motivate myself, writing down my goals and to discover the power of music.
Music helped me a lot to get motivation. I remember that I use to create my playlists with cassettes recording them from my old records. I use to use those playlists as a timeline, when I hear that song, I should have accomplished that task.
And it worked for me. I used music to Motivate myself.
Now I'm a just old fashioned in the new era and I discovered the power of Spotify, Apple Music that helped me to create a playlist in an easy way.
Now my playlists are mostly related to my Yoga, Reiki, Meditation passion or also to my recreative moments, reading a book, writing a letter to my wife or drinking a herbal tea. And I do this with passion as a hobby because some friends and family member were really happy to discover new music and listen to it during the daily tasks.

I feel like a lot of depression and anxiety comes from where you work.

Just under a year ago I was working a retail job that I hated was on antidepressants and just overall in a bad place with no motivation.

Yesterday I landed my dream software development job and now I could not be happier.

With just a little motivation to study for an hour a night i have managed to turn my life around and anyone in here could to.

I found a clip of this speech by Oprah on instagram. Decided to search a longer version and listen to it. Definitely worth it.
