FEARS and DESIRES

These two qualities seem to be the reason why most people never accomplish anything in their lives and sadly they pass it onto their children. I hope someone out there reads this a share a comment on it. Danger is real and fear is just a figment of our imagination. Most at times, people get confused with the two and end up thinking they are the same. Do not get me wrong on this issue of fear. Just like many other bad attributes, fear here is not 100% bad, it has its good side as well no matter how small that may be.

In the above insert, warren buffet, who is known to be one of the greatest investors who has ever lived tells us to be fearful at certain times in his world of expertise. Thus, when people are greedy, we should take a step back and deeply analyze the situation before we step back into the game.

Desires on the other hand is an interesting and exciting issue. Every human being has it and it can never be satisfied. You may think you would be comfortable with getting that raise at work but as soon as that’s done, something new creeps in. Learning to manage these two qualities can be tricky but the end game as always is worth it. One thing I have realized is that successful people are people who have their fears and desires in check. They, unlike the countless middle-class society, do not spend their profits or income on the things that makes them comfortable. They however create more income generating opportunities. This way, they are always have enough to cater for their expenses and desires later on in life. Successful people do fear sometimes but their fear is way different from the average guy who enjoys the occasional impulse buying. They fear that what they have will not be able to cater for the needs of their families, or that they cannot raise enough money to sponsor their children’s education and many others so they fight for more and they get it eventually.

All I am trying to put across is that having your fears and desires in constant check will be the greatest asset one could ever acquire. Apart from gaining astronomically in your finances, it will also teach you the value of patience. It is hard to start but a much harder life awaits those who do not start at all. Stay safe and keep on working on that dream of yours. It will not stay the same forever as long as you do not give up. It is my wish that someone out there gets inspired by this message and keep on keeping on.
