A dream of an African child. A road towards greatness
This is an Africa child dream. A dream to be someone worth and valuable to the community. An African child is identified by his family, culture and environment. He defines his life on what he finds and adapts to their ways of being. An African child has no complain and pay more attention to the elders. As he grows, he learns much and try the small things he can afford. He sometimes get to learn some few tips from the mother or the father, try eating, moving and talking like his parents and then after longs to grow up and be like them one day.
As he grows up, the African child learns and discovers so many things. He gets exposed to the world and thinks of achieving something great one day.
He normally has no mentor and tries to make and test some life changing opportunities of which he can be able to grab wherever he reaches. The African child does decide to leave his village to an unknown place, trying a new life, not knowing what will probably happen but with a hope of being someone worth in the future. He is fast at creating connections and making best friends who could help him achieve great. Above all, he looks for new parents who could support him in case of extreme need.
The African child does not complain and contented of who he is. This could look simple, but from the inside, there is always a burning desire to turn everything better back and then finds pleasure of being part of his community. This pushes him to work more and have some assets back home as a land, some cows or goats and at least buy for his parents modern clothes. His desire is always to make things move better not only on his side but also to his family. Most time, first boys, tend to leave their homes as early as possible and then after come back to support the family.
Here is the dream of an African child.
An African child longs to make everything work better. Look! Do you know how these children suffer? Do you remember what happened few years in South Sudan, central Africa? 24 years in Rwanda? What about Somalia or Sierra Leone? All these countries suffered lot where hundreds, thousands and millions of African children lost their lives. All had a wish to live in a better place. I do not think that Somalians wish to live in a war environment. No. All long to see peace and live well with their families.
Once upon a time a child was asked of how he wanted to be in the future. Of course, everyone was expecting something related to money or prosperity, living in a safer country or else attending school. Moreover, his response was not as such. He just looked at the people and pointed his fingers to an old man. The old man looked so aged, not wealthy.
No one knew what he was actually meaning and they asked him to explain. His answer was just simple. He just said I want to have a family as this old man, peace as this old man, eat as this old man and grow old as this man. This brought the idea that not everyone get this gift of life. So many children lost their lives in civil wars due to some political and social related challenges.
Most people do not pay attention to the little ones and make their lives lose focus. If only the African child had peace, I believe he couldn’t desire to be a migrant joining urban areas so as to perform poorly payed jobs.
An African child can be on the street but have a hope of being someone worth in the future. This matters a lot and having such thoughts will eventually bring them into some great achievement. Well, this motivates others to reach higher. If I can have some minimum level of income and the support the family, build something back home and buy some cattles, what about those better off? He says. Do their have plans or achieve great. I think of that. If you can not believe me, do try moving and ask a street boy about his life and ambitions. Yes, he may not be at school but has a hope of being someone in the community. This calls for the spirit of support and mentoring the young ones. If a child has a chance of having all the necessities, then he could be reminded that there are thousands and millions others who have no shoes, shelter and food while missing education opportunities.
What a great inspiration story! We need to stand up for the African child because they go through a lot personally am a first born and my parents look up to me a lot

Congratulations @ jona12 great post, when you say "Most people do not pay attention to the little ones and cause their lives to lose focus." That is a great truth, children deserve more attention, a dignified life! They should be directed to the positive focus, even if it is with simple things that unfortunately many places do not yet have.
I'll give you a resteem in this post if you can collaborate and do the same for me.
Thanks!
Hugs!
