The difference between intelligence and diligence
The difference between intelligence and diligence is often misunderstood. Intelligence is the measure of one's ability to think, reason and understand concepts and information. Diligence, on the other hand, is the willingness to put in effort without getting distracted. It is also known as hard work and discipline. While intelligence can be seen as the ability to exploit others' willingness, diligence requires motivation and ambition, as well as good learning opportunities. Differences in intelligence are largely attributed to genetic factors, but diligence can do a lot to help a person achieve success. Furthermore, intelligence is not necessarily an indicator of learning; it can simply consist of knowing a lot and having learned it through diligence. Ultimately, intelligence and diligence are both important in order to achieve success in life.
