Confidence simply put means believing in oneself, something or someone. It is the way you feel about yourself and life. Be it in the midst of thousands or having a close knit gathering, confidence comes into play. We all need to exude a certain level of confidence because it gives one control over some situations.

Confidence is one of those trait you build and consistently grow overtime. This trait is linked to every part of your lives, from relationship to physical health and so on. The major key in building your confidence is to alter the way you present and see yourself. Our self worth is linked to our confidence and if we fail to recognise this, our existence will be clouded with doubt. With zero confidence we miss out on great opportunities whenever they come knocking.

HOW TO BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE:

  1. IMPROVE YOUR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE: This is the ability to understand and recognise your emotions and how it affects our surroundings. The more your intelligence grows, the more your confidence improves.

  2. DISCOVER AND PRACTICE YOUR APTITUDE: Practice they say makes perfection, whatever you feel passionate about practice more on it and improve your skills. Nothing builds confidence like being an expertise at something, it makes you feel great about your abilities.

  3. POSITIVE AFFIRMATION: This process releases you from fear, negativity and helps you be at ease with yourself. It is an added boost to your morale when you think positively and hope for the best.

  4. IDENTIFY YOUR WEAKNESSES: You need to identify the root of your low self confidence and find ways and means to eradicate it. Go after this problem and find ways of making it to your strong forte.

  5. SMILE: Smiling in science nourishes the body and physically helps one feel better. Always put a smile on your face and look at yourself in the mirror. Your personal happiness will help boost your confidence.

Confidence can be learned and developed by you releasing the negative thoughts and habits hindering your growth. Confidence is the key to living happy and realising your goals.
