The technology behind cryptos is sometimes very hard to grasp, you have to read in depth, in order to get a concept of what a particular term is talking about. I too had a hard time getting to understand cryptos, but right now i think i have some ideas about cryptocurrencies, because you can't get to know all with more advancement coming through everyday.
