You Are Your Own Success Driver, Drive Your Way To Success In Your Way
I believe everyone can be successful, I believe everyone is a success but your own definition of success might be totally different from my own perspective of success. Everybody has different measure and scale for success but have the same view with failure. Failure is the complete opposite of success.
We can all be successful but we can not all be successful at the same level since we do different things. What a carpenter will see as success is not what a footballer will view as success. They can both be successful but in different ways, like I always say "A bone in the hand of a dog is very precious but a bone in the hands of a goat is very useless".
Either you are a student, you are self-employed, a civil servant, business owner, investor, trader, politician and so on, one thing we have in common is that we are all drivers who drive ourselves to success on the success road.
Let me give you a little guide on how you can drive successfully on the success road.
One thing I have learnt from my father is to obey every speed limit o the road to success. In reality, all roads have their own speed limit and as you know on every road, overtaking is allowed but overspeeding is not adviced. There is something I have noticed about so many drivers when they get on the express, they want to be the first on the road and then they start going at high speed, a speed above the speed limit of the road and soon they start overtaking so many vehicles but they forget they can never be the first on the express because there are always people at their front who are also going in the same direction. The same thing applies to the success road, you are allowed to overtake as it is part of the rule but you are not advised not to over speed. Never forget that there are different types of vehicles on the road and some drivers are very reckless and can crash into you.
There is something certain on the success road, you will surely arrive at your destination so why the over speed? Take time to study success drivers who drive very fast above the speed limit, most of them either end up crashing or they run out of fuel easily. At first, they might be running and everyone might envy them, but they end up crashing because the road is not for racers, it is for the cool, calm and calculative. Like my dad told me one time "your destiny can never be destroyed by someone else, it can only be delayed but it can be destroyed easily by you".
Ask for direction on the success road if you are lost
Most drivers on the success road do not ask for help, they do not ask for directions even when they do not know where they heading to, they just keeping going cluelessly. Asking for assistance has helped a lot of people to attain success in their various waves of life. You can not be a master without being a student first. So many people find it hard to ask for help and support wherever they need it, this may be due to insecurity, pride or other reasons. The truth is you need someone to help you get to your destination.
The sky is large enough for all birds to fly without colliding so do not create enemies through jealousy.
Everyone is a success and the sky is big enough to accommodate all birds why the fly. Everyone can succeed without seeing anyone as a threat. You start failing when you start feeling angry about other people's success.
Never forget your humble beginning and always be open to learning as no man is an archive of knowledge. Learn to be in your best attitude the success road, remember to use your break whenever it is necessary, never think you can beat everyone, you need everyone and anyone, like i always say "Nobody is useless" and like @surpassinggoogle said one time "there is always a place for everyone".
DO NOT FORGET STEEMIT IN NIGERIA (SIN)...
Thanks to @elyaque for my first badge
The road to success is always bumpy, if we don't obey the rule we might get somersaulted as a result will not get to our destination. It is always good to choose the right part and stop comparing our success with others, focusing on our potentials will help us a lot. @gbengaThanks for sharing
The road to success is so rough and it requires patience and consistency to drive through
Such a beautiful post! You are very true, one person's success can be completely different to another's. I feel I am becoming successful with my family life as I spend much more quality time at home than I did before when I was working full time in an office. Although I don't have as much money now, I am happier and so is my family, so for me, this is success! Thank you for your post :D
Thanks a lot @beautifulbullies i'm glad you are enjoying precious time with your family
Very well I concur @gbenga . True talk. I talking about jealousy, I have learned to admire people's success and wish to have the same grace. After then I often see myself in that position.
# Example
When I was 14yrs as a teen. I use to admire popular artists and wish to be seen on different videos in Benin city. Just like a joke a friend from my church referred me to a big act in the industry. Same popular artist I admire. That's how seeing myself in the TV became a regular thing for me..

I love this your statement
I just wish everyone could be conscious of this and change our mindset and also the way we see life. We all are still learning though. Thank you again more this message

@Gbenga big bro, everybody has got a place, and my place is to comment on such a fantastic motivation, keep riding
lol, Your place is at the top, my dear.... Wishing you all the best. Thanks for stopping
@gbenga you are speaking my mind. I keep asking a particular question which what's the point in running if you are on wrong direction and another thing is running is good but when you run watch people by your side and treat them well because you don't know what can happen along the way, they might be the one to help you when you have a problem on the road.
Treat everyone well.
Thanks buddy.....Nigerians will always hit the point, I love your submission.
One love
The race is not for the strong, it is for the wise, the smart and the patient
Thanks for the motivation. It is always better to be on the creative plane than the competitive plane.
That's a good one my friend
I have always seen always seen you as a great man with very deep wisdom, but I must say I am wowed by this great piece of inspiration you just dropped.
We succeed in different spheres of life, and so while one may be succeeding in one sphere he might not be succeeding in another sphere. For instance a man could be very successful in business but not successful in his marriage.
The problem most of us have is that we become jealous of another person's success and in our jealousy we fail to see that there's actually a part of our life in which we are doing great.
Rather than becoming jealous we should admire the other man's success and strive to become better in so doing we create room for our own success in that particular field.
Like you said, the sky is large enough to contain all the birds notwithstanding their acrobatics and flight pattern.
Let me also add that on the success road, never try pulling back another because in so doing you also drag yourself backward and would always remain behind the man you are pulling because to pull back someone successfully, you must do that from behind.
Once again thanks for this great piece of inspiration.
This is a very thoughtful one my friend. Thanks for sharing
Hey my brother
Peace and respect to you in Nigeria
What a beautiful metaphor you've shared with us today...
Thank you so much.
I could feel the grace and humility in your words
Keep spreading this message because it is surely important for those that are in too much of a hurry and driving too fast to hear it, before they burnout and have an accident
Peace xx
Thanks a lot @imp.unity I'm glad you liked it. I hope you drive safely on your success journey
Hello @gbenga
This is a wonderful motivation.
It cannot be more than this. Everyone has his perspective as you said and everyone success is different. Is just for the person to know what he wants and how to get it.
You learnt better thing ore from your dad. It cannot be over emphasised, what will be one's will be. Nothing like over speeding can bring success fast.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
@learnandteach01
This is a beautiful one my friend, We can all achieve without going too fast and crashing
Very true. The FRSC's advert on the radio, "okolo ma sare asapajude o, ni suuruu" comes to mind.
Lol, don't mind my Yoruba.
Hello @gbenga, you have written well. We will all get there but at different times and there is no need killing yourself. Take things easy and definitely you will get to your destination. Kudos for a job well done.
