Go and get your PVC
Few days ago i got a call from someone that i was assested to join their team in encouraging people to participate in politics since i am a political science student.
To be honest,simply because thats my discipline doesnt mean i must be a politician oh,lol.
Well thats not what i wanna share today,back to the main point.
After she sounded so detailed and convincing, she asked me what does it take to be a part of the team.
I told her two things. First, it must be void of any political party. Second, she should snap her TVC or PVC and show me even if she was a representative.
She replied the first, that it is on a neutral ground, but the second, it's three days now since I persisted to see her TVC or PVC only just to notice now that she blocked me. Lol.
Well I wasn't bothered but I think It's high time we young people stop some sycophantic or frivolous activities and for once tell ourselves The truth

Truth be told, reality be faced, political leardership position through electoral processes are not won by constructive posts on social media, criticizing opposition party,hyping your favourite candidate online, insulting your elders with points, joining campaigns, sensitization programs or by just having a PVC.
Elective positions are WON through VOTES and votes are gotten when you leave your house with your PVC on election day, locate your polling unit to use your thump.
This is the secret the older ones know when they say the youths are not yet READY to take up leadership position and I concur.
I know its not really easy to get TVC or PVS,the crowd is mond blowing,lol,its more like thwy are distributing money,lol,the process is a bit difficult because of how the officials work,being lazy and reluctant,more like you're begging them for it,its actually our right to have it,i don't understand or know why we are stressed or insulted while trying to get it, i know its not really easy for them too but atleast we shouldnt be insulted,plus the corruption,if you don't know anyone my dear,you are on your own,lol.
It actually took me three days to get mine plus my transportation fare,they didn't even care to provide chairs or bench for us;pregnant women,staff,old men and women,still they wasted our time,time is precious to me,i even saw a young girl,lol she brought her writing materials and text book to review a book and also snacks and when i asked why,she said "na 9ja we dey,they dont know time waits for no one",lol i couldnt help but laugh,it took my time and energy,still i never gave up.I did the same thing she did till i was attended to.
Come 2019, I will not be surprise if our youths still complain or beg to occupy political positions because majority of the youths who understand the need for youths to be actively involve in politics and those who rant on social media about bad leadership are yet to get their PVC. It's a fact and so pathetic.
And pls if you get your PVC,do not use it to collect 500 or 1 cup of rice or garri,go and vote!!
