The truth about Nothing!
We fight for the wrong stuffs and never wait long enough to see the real us. I am not one to think inside an enclosed space.
I dabble around the unthinkable and somewhat unimaginable. Why? I have no freaking idea.
I just love that I have a choice and can truly freely exercise it and then try to use it to the best of my ability.
Living is trifecta(my explanation though) and dillusionally fake. We live like we own time only to be sidelined by a fraction of a second of time.
As a local blogger cum Steemit promoter and then, that guy that continuously strives to develop phantom communities, I have come to be faced with so many ills, disappointments and hurts; and then I ask myself, is this really worth it?
Am I supposed to dare to be different in a world where everyone thinks the same and only a crazy few seek to be different?
No matter how much you try to tell the truth, the world always seeks the lie because it is what it is used to.
Life is empty.
I grew up in a farm house and was really pressed hard to find all those beautiful things of life. We had to practically live from hand to mouth and it was fun as it was a pain. What do children know? They smile even when they have it hard. I survive everyday's hardship because the child in me never gives up; it consoles and challenges me.
Growing up in a community where there are so many people from a single man also had it's challenges.
My granddad married 4 wives and there was no day that we didn't have to witness a fight. Fights that happened then spanned weeks, months, years and it decades.
We all strive to be the best while struggling to outdo the others because, we all needed to be validated as that will, differentiate us from the others. We are all the others and when we fight the others, we fight self.
I was a guy about town and I just love that I was a person everyone liked, but my introvert nature made me choose who I wanted to be identified with and that alone put me in the bad books of some folks.
I almost drowned in the local river. Yes, I dared to dive into the deepest parts and then my feet failed to find an end and I drowned.
Pulled out by a total stranger and I lived to try it out the next day and I didn't drown again. Eureka! I found and conquered the fear.
I struggled to go to school with the hope of landing a great job... but you and I know, that didn't happen. Why? It just didn't happen and that just makes it seem so wrong.
I lived within the tenents of the laws of my country, but I still get treated as a criminal home and abroad.
Have you been stopped by SARS (Special Anti Robbery Squad)?
It's not funny when they stop you and then they make it all harder by just tagging you as a common criminal because you do not look "forced poor or broke."
Have you searched for a job in Nigeria of late? It's really crazy what these adverts tell you they want. "You must be a graduate by age 27 and have over 15 years experience." Yikes!
When you happen on one that isn't that crazy with the experience, you get peanuts and then are saddled with some crazy targets. You work until you forget the meaning of living for yourself.
It sucks!!!

- Should it be a story about Jeff Bezos who started out selling books to selling everything else?
- Should it be about Mark Zuckerberg who created a platform just to get at a girl and now owns half of the world's population?
- Should it be about Jack MA who had no idea what and how a computer operates but went on to create a platform known as the world's biggest e-commerce website?
- Should it be about Warren Buffet who started out as a young investment hungry chap, who was able to pull monies from his family and started out Berkshire Hathaway which now has major holdings in Coca-Cola etc?
- Should it be about Jay-Z, a well known drug pusher from the bronx who went on to create his own empire which is practically everyone's state of mind?
- Should it be about Dan Larimer or Ned Scott who started this awesome platform that had become home to hundreds of thousands of Creative Commons who now have something to live for?
- Should it be about You? Yes I think it should be, but it mostly will be about nothing for now. (So, go ahead and write your story here............!!
Everyone has a story.
It may sound boring and sometimes untrue, but we all have stories and individually when we live it, the world stays just one step awesome than we met it.
Story lines are what makes it all worth a living for the good and mostly wrong g reasons.
I may be telling a story now, but the best ones are those that will be told by those who aren't here with me.
The TRUTH about you is mostly about nothing until it is told by someone who had no idea how you started.

Lovely post. I love your style of writing. Whenever I read your post, it feels very real and close to spirit. I think you write your steemit posts sitting in a peaceful environment close to nature. I can imagine you writing outside and I can see the farms behind you. Am I guessing it right ?
@aishaali, lol. I have to agree with you on this because I created the location in my mind as I do everytime. Was actually on transit to the normal eyes, but was indeed back in the farmhouse where I grew up. Cheers.

This particular statement did it for me. Over the years, I have learnt to speak my truth silently. I don't force it on others. I know what I know and they know what they know. It's as simple as that.
It is best to not force our beliefs or truths on others, the world takes what it wants and it is left for us to do the same. Cheers.

The world is quite frustrating when you come it through the way it's meant to be.
But who cares about what they think..... It's my life , I'll go for gold, tell my story to the world. Some will say I am unrealistic and still a child. But when we were kids, we were not yet marred by the horrors of impossibility. As Kids,the obedient ones o... You only thought it was impossible what mom or dad or teacher said was impossible. But if your mind says it's possible, you go for It.
So I'll go for Gold, if I fail, I will as well be content I gave it a shot.

Anyone who grew up outside the tent of a silver spoon can definitely relate to this, that’s why I find it easy to help out someone with or without a similar story. People only see the glory, they never saw the days of sorrow, hunger and rejections. A lot of rag to riches are easy to tell and hear but the experience can never be documented properly, it takes one who has gone true the same phase to understand better

Can't wait to share my story in some years to come of how I conquered even with the so many discouragements around principally owing to the fact that the economic system of my country is still coming up....

What a way to starrtge start the day. This post cut across everything. We live in the world where we feel the need to impress, where when the system fail us, they make it look like it is our fault. This post is a valid statement about self discovery. Our background should not put our back on the ground. It's all in the power of choice. We choose our path. We all have stories, but then, how do we want it to be told? We all have dreams, how are we selling it? We are responsible in charting our cause. We should keep rowing our boat while we keep calling on God. God won't do for us, the things we are supposed to. This is such an amazing post sir. I can totally relate to it. This strikes me:
