If I had the chance to go back in time to meet this 18 years old @ehmkannde in his first year at the university, this is what I would say;

I know you are full of energy and dreams! I know there are lots of things you see wrong and you think you should try to solve! You are so full of yourself that you think you should extend all that into making an impact as soon as possible.
But I will advice that you relax small, Keep calm! You just have to be proud of what you have achieved so far! There is no need to try to impress anybody or even yourself, take it easy and keep making yourself better.

I know you have lots of plans in your head! Please be aware that most of those plans won't work! But don't worry! You don't need all to work. You just have to try those plans out one at a time, when one succeeds it becomes easier to see the others come to pass. Don't ever be scared of trying and when those plans don't work, please don't see it as a failure, see it as a step you just passed which is necessary for the millions of more steps to your ultimate goal. Bro, don't be too hard on yourself...

I know you want love right now! You see every guy getting into relationships and you are like wow, I also need something like this.
Bro, wait oo! you need love? or come on, what has mom and dad been showing you? that is the truest love you are ever going to get. Don't beat yourself up because others are dating. I think your name is Kannde and not others. Take it easy! Just fight your own fight and when the time is right you won't have to look!

How much money do you have right now? If daddy does not send you money can you live on your own? Did I hear no? well, I thought as much.
This means you are not ready for any romantic relationship, keep your heart as it is for now, let it just be responsible for pumping blood until it is matured enough to handle other matters.
Don't ever think you are ugly just because girls don't fight in the canteen for your sake. You don't even need that now. As I said, work on yourself in ways that would make the world favor you. This is the time to put in the sacrifice.

I know you think you have it all figured out but note that the plans of God supersedes yours and have trust that His plans for you are much bigger than your little head can imagine right now! You must have room for small changes and never get yourself fixed on any path. You need to know when to make changes and when to push on.
This is one of the biggest problem facing many young guys like you. But you need to figure a way to keep yourself like water, making use of every opportunity that comes your away as far as it is aligned with your passions. There are several things you will have to learn and don't ever think you know. You shall remain a student till you die. Don't think you have just six years to learn, learning rather starts after school.

Keep studying but don't burn yourself out! Have fun too! Come on bro, play football at the weekends, make friends too, go out with them to swim on weekends. Watch movies if you feel too bored, listen to music, learn some rap, try to be normal. I know you feel so great and that is fine but your colleagues see you as equals so live well with them.

I know you think everyone is watching you but sorry to disappoint! Nobody gives a damn about you! So take it easy and move at your own pace! Don't ever compare your life with others! If you should be comparing it should be against your goals!

Little man! Don't ever stop trying! Keep an open mind and watch out for new connections! You may meet someone who would help redefine your life for the best or for the worse so be mindful!
The most important thing I will add is that you should never ever allow anyone, I mean anyone to dictate to you your dreams. No matter how big your dreams are keep them and even make them bigger. No one is responsible for your dreams but you so you have to see what others say about your dream as comments and not editions.
