New Year, New Crypto You: Fresh Outlook on How to Think Crypto 2018

It's been countless times when we've said to ourselves, "New year, new me," but how many of us can say we've actually made it work?

I'm personally not a huge fan of New Year's resolutions but we are living in unprecedented times and with unprecedented technology, some resolutions for 2018 might not be so far out of reach.

For some, Crypto currencies and block-chain tech is nothing new. For others it's been a recent venture of the past couple of years and for most it might be a brand new experience. This new year gives us not a chance to be new people (I'd like to think the intelligence you have got you here in the first place), but perhaps more focused individuals. How can we redefine our perspective on Crypto technology and focus on the things that will make us better investors?

Changing the way we look at our investments:

Many people have joined in to the Crypto fever and with record-breaking new account numbers on Coinbase, it's not too crazy to say we are in it for a while. Yes, the bull movements we have seen across major technologies like Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, etc. have made it feasible to make a quick amount of money however, Crypto is much, much bigger than that. The technology that stands behind coins like Bitcoin or Ether possess the ability to change the world as we know it and with the possibility of investing today, to change our world as well.
So when investing, keep in mind: Crypto is not just the heat of the moment, it is solutions to day-to-day global problems as well as security and transaction transparency for all - investing wisely and actively in these technologies can lead to rewarding outcomes both short and long term.

With that said, INVEST WISELY. You should never invest in something you're not knowledgeable about. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. It couldn't be more true in the world of Crypto.

Don't get caught up in a fad, it will not be rewarding nor will it be worth your effort - seeing which coin "not one has caught onto yet, etc." doesn't do much for your wallet.

Study! Researching information and topics expand your knowledge on crypto and can be one of the most rewarding aspects of investing. A lot of us Steemians love Steemit because of all the different minds we get to pick daily.

2018, the turn of the calendar year brings just another regular day in the circle of life, but ironically there's never been a better time to invest.
