Perhaps you did set a plan to achieve something before the year wraps up or at a specific point in time, but unfortunately, something came up. It won't be ideal if we change the goal just because our plan didn't come out the way we ought it would be, rather, we should endeavor to change the plan. In a world of determination, focus, patience, and intense hard work, nothing is impossible.

No doubt life is hard, and we are all bound to encounter some challenges along the road or the journey of life. Each and every day, life seems to get harder than the previous, most times the environment we find ourselves tend to put us in an unpleasant situation that might ultimately propel us to give up.

A goal without a plan is just a wish

It has been proved by the research team that it's in human nature to always aim for one particular thing or the other, and most times it's always translated into 'goals'. It's very crucial for us to set a goal, be sure that goal will leverage your existence and then you lay out a plan on how to accomplish that goal. As banal as it sounds:

Failing to plan is planing to fail

If the plan isn't working towards accomplishing your goals, then you need to change the formation of your plan. This is where most people fail, they change the goal in place of the plan. Perhaps the goal is truly what you want to accomplish in a period of time, then its not doubt that you change the plan and not the goal. There should be an adjustment in the plans, as well as the direction of the plan, this will ultimately enhance the happenings around what the end result might be.

Sometimes when things aren’t working out quite as we hoped or planned, the temptation is to start again and change everything – maybe this is why some business people talk about ‘moving the goalposts’.
