Hello dear steemians, today I will talk about a legend Nelson Mandela, a great leader.

I'm trying my best to write about Nelson Mandela's birth and childhood, Mandela's education, political life, anti-apartheid movement; struggling life; prisoner; liberation from prison, first black president of South Africa; Mandela's unique form; rewards and honor;

Introduction: One of the world's most popular leaders and great statesman is Nelson Mandela. He is the father of the South African nation and former president. He is a great unanimous leader and the proverbial anti-racist movement to the world. He has struggled all over life for the eradication of apartheid and national unity. As a result of his untiring struggle, the neglected and oppressed people got the taste of freedom, equality and liberation.

Nelson Mandela's Birth and Early Childhood: Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 in Tambu dynasty in the village of Amvajo, in the southern province of Umtatu. His father's name is Henry Mandela, mother's name is Nosceni Fanny. His nickname 'Rorihahla', which means 'broken the branches of trees', which means causing problems, oppressed or naughty boy. He is better known as Madiba by South Africans. But according to the ancestors, his last name is Mandela. Mandela's grandfather was a king and father was the tribe of Tembu tribe. He lost his father when he was 8 years old. Later, his tribe grew up in the chief's ministry. In his childhood, his grandfather's house. He is the first member of his family who has studied in school. While studying in school, his teacher named his English name in Madinan "Nelson".

Mandela's education career: After passing out from school, Mandela was admitted to the Bachelor of Arts course at Fort Hare University. At the end of the 1st year at the University, Mandela became involved in the movement called by the student council against the racism of the university authorities. So the authorities expelled him from the punishment as a punishment from Fort Hair. Later, as a clerk in Johannesburg's legal establishment, Witkin Sidlesky and Edelman. While working in this institution, he graduated under the University of South Africa's distance education program. After graduating from the University of Witwater, he started his post-graduate studies in law. In this time he lived in Alexandria, a city in the north of Johannesburg

Political career: Nelson established Juba League in 1944 by joining the African National Congress (ANC) during his studies at the University of Mandela. His university friends, Sisulu, transformed the ANC into a movement-oriented group by gathering young, intelligent and devoted devoted workers like Oliver Tambar. In 1948, the National Party won the South African election, a party of African parties, which believes in racism and isolate the different nationalities. Mandela actively involved in politics in the wake of the National Party's coming to power. At the beginning of political life, Nelson Mandela was influenced by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy. He was the first to favor non-violent movement. In 1952, he led the non-cooperation movement of the African National Congress. His role in the public conference in 1955 was also important.

Anti-racist movement: In 1955 Nelson Mandela formulated the 'Independence Charter' or 'Mukti Sanad' as the basis of the South African anti-apartheid movement. Mandela was charged under the Communist Suppression Act due to the non-cooperation movement of 1952. All his meetings and meetings were banned from going out of Johannesburg for six months. Then Mandela made ANC's new organizational plan and formed the first black business company in black. But South African Racist White Government arrested 156 anti-apartheid activists, including Mandels on December 5, 1956, in cases of sedition. After a long five year (1956-61) case, all the accused proved innocent and in 1961 all were released. In that year, Mandela took the leadership of ANC's armed organization 'Umkhanto We Simway', which means 'Leader of the Country'. He planned and coordinated the sabotage and suppression attack against the anti-apartheid government and his army. If the racist government does not retreat, then it is necessary to go for guerrilla warfare if necessary.

Aggressive life: Mandela chose the path of armed movement because non-violent protests against persecution and oppression of long-running government of South Africa were not successful. Mandela was arrested on Aug 5, 1962 due to the racist movement, and was stuck in the Johannesburg stronghold. In 1961, he was charged with leading a labor strike and being accused of illegally going out of the country. On 25 October 1962, on the two charges he was given a five year imprisonment. Two years later, on June 11, 1964, Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Rivonia trial on charges of involvement in the ANC's armed struggle and involvement in sabotage activities. Later sent to jail in the notorious Robben Island.

Mandela's imprisonment: Mandela's imprisonment begins at Robben Island Here he spent his first 18 years in prison for 27 years. Here is the list of the most privileged prisoners of Mandela D group, ie, the least privileged prisoners. He was kept only in two meters wide and two and a half meters tall, and the bedroom was on the floor. He was given only one letter every six months and was allowed to meet only one visitor. Mandela's letter written to Mandela would keep the censor staff locked up for a long time, and in many places was made ineligible to be unreadable. In March 1982, Mandela was transferred from the prison of Robben Island to the Pol Surab Prison. Later, in 1988, he was taken to Victor Verster Jail. Mandela was held in prison until the release.

Release From Prison: In February 1985, Mandela refused to release South African dictator P W. Baughta on conditional terms. Later on, the pressure on the government for local and international levels was increasing for his release. In 1989, President Botha succumbed to his cardiac arrest and succeeded Frederick Willem de Clarke. After the political change, De Clark declared Mandela free in February 1990.

South Africa's first black president: After the release of the prison, Mandela took the lead of the African National Congress. He was the leader of this group from 1990 to 1994. In April 1993, the violence of African National Congress leader Chris Janie was sparked by violence in the country. In spite of not being the President of Mandela, the President urged the countrymen to maintain peace in the President's speech. During this time, he sat with the government to discuss racism with the government. If this peace talks were fruitful, in 1994, for the first time in the country's history, general elections were held with the participation of people of all castes. Mandela won democratically elected South Africa's first black president. He served as President of 1994 until 1999.

Awards and honors: Mandela has been honored with hundreds of prizes and awards. Mandela has received more than 250 prizes in the last four decades and he jointly won the Shakharov Prize in 1988. In 1993, he won the Nobel Peace Prize. In 1990, the Indian government awarded him the title of Bharat Ratna. He was honored as a respected member of Canadian Honorary Citizenship, British Labor Party and Manchester United Football Club. Mandela particle has also been named as a nuclear cat. A prehistoric woodpecker and an orchid have been named after him. The United Nations declared its birth anniversary July 18, 2000 as Mandela Day.

Farewell / Mandela's fatality / death: Mandela's tuberculosis in Mandela's body during the dirty prison in Robben Island His lung infection at the end of his life. After three months of Pretoria Medical Hospital, he died on 5 December 2013 in a hospital in Johannesburg. He was 95 years old. After completing several occasions in the state funeral for 10 days, he was buried in a family graveyard on June 15 in the Eastern Cape Province of his village Kunu.
