How To Stop Worrying About Other People's Opinions [The First Steemit Cartoon Series] #10

in #motivation8 years ago (edited)

When asked about it many says that they couldn't care less about what others think about them.

But in reality they are fooling themselves.

Without exception every single one of us care about these things. We want to look better in other people's eyes, we care about the clothes we are wearing, what others may think about what we write on our blogs, how much money we are earning compared to others. Do you think Instagram, Twitter, Facebook would exist if none of these things would matter to us?

We are consciously or unconsciously worrying about all these things and this burns a lot of energy. We are lagging behind of our true potential if we don't realize this.

Truth to be told we just can't ignore it as if this struggle doesn't exist any more. This is not human nature.  We can fabricate lies that "what they think does not matter or nobody cares what I do" but this won't stop our frustration.

So what is the solution?

What others think will always affect us and these anxieties will always come up but instead of following them as a command we just note the they are there. They are just the morning mist which comes up then floats away or disappears when the Sun comes up.

What I recommend you is to look beyond your anxieties and peel it off to see your motives. Deep inside your motives are good, every one of us want to do some good and each one of us have some real unique value which is there to express.

I encourage you to sit down and think about this.

Worries can come up but what's inside you is always there. Find the goodness in yourself. You can draw motivation from that.
