[Mossland] Public Meetup
Last night, we had our very first Public Meetup. In order to reach out to our participants, we have prepared a special evening which included a screening of <Ready Player One> in a 4DX cinema.
Tickets for the meetup were sold out in a day. People’s interest in Mossland was evident.
People lined up in a queue hours before the opening of the meetup. Thanks to the punctuality of our participants we could start right on time.
We started out with a welcoming speech from our Mossland COO, Oh Sean!
Afterwards, various individuals who gave a lot of help to Mossland ICO gave introductory speeches.
Firstly, Lee Duhee, Mossland advisor and Like Lion CEO gave a congratulatory message.
Like Lion is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating thousands university students with programming skills and helping them to create their own services. As Like Lion’s blockchain partner, Mossland will be carrying our Like Lion’s blockchain courses.
He shared that Mossland’s vision of bringing blockchain technology to the virtual world inspired him to join Mossland as an advisor and cooperate in partnership.
Afterwards, we had a special guest Hong Jinho, a pro-gamer as well as a celebrity. He declared that he himself has participated in the ICO and acknowledged Mossland as a forefront runner in making a virtual world.
We also had Mossland CEO Son Wooram’s presentation.
He shared Mossland’s vision and the story behind its motto: “Today’s virtuality, tomorrow’s reality.” (The details on the presentation will be updated in the next post.)
And the highlight of the event! Two big news were revealed.
1) Moss Coin will be listed on Allbit.
Many of participants fervently awaited this news about listing. Moss Coin will be listed on Allbit, which is a decentralized exchange that is planning on to be launched in May. With its opening, Allbit will support Mossland as one of its major partners. Ik Soon Lee, CEO of Allbit visited us at the meetup, which was his first public appearance.
2) Collaboration with Qtum
Mossland executives have gone on several business trips to China to meet with strategic partners. And yesterday, collaboration with Qtum was revealed. Wooram Son noted that Mossland’s AR/VR technology and Qtum’s blockchain technology will boost the establishment of blockchain ecosystem in game industry.
We look forward to the future that will be created in cooperation of Mossland and Qtum.
The last part of the event was a Q&A session. 40 minutes flew by quickly with quality questions. Q&A questions and answers will be revealed in the next post.
