As we get closer to finalizing the network for the launch of the Morphene ICO, we are announcing the release of MorpheneDB.
By providing a wallet, a blockchain explorer, a python library, a javascript library, a marketing site and a working proof-of-concept application site, Morphene is positioned to deal with a massive onboarding campaign; and that is precisely what we are getting ready for.

It is too early to tell but it appears Top 20 Witnesses will earn roughly 5-7 Million MORPH/year. This could turn out to be very beneficial for these users if the ICO goes well and Morphene is able to successfully attract users. We want our witnesses to be involved with the company to a degree and will provide ongoing support and training for witness applicants when reasonable.

Just some feedback on the site. I am not sure if anyone who doesn't have the background is going to understand what you mean by auction.

I don't know if I would buy or not, because it is unclear to me still who you are trying to attract and what they will come to morphene for.... Maybe your marketing is for the devlopers and not the endusers and they will understand. Just giving feedback, not being critical.
Great feedback. Our marketing is absolutely evolving and we aren't quite sure yet where that path is going to take us.
In the beginning, we want to explain ourselves to developers and interested users that are willing to contribute some time and energy for tokens. Morphene is going to sell tokens directly from our website when we actually build out the application site beyond a proof of concept.
Users will also likely be able to sell back their MORPH tokens or convert them into some other token in the future.
We are currently envisioning the auction proof of concept as a fun way to distribute the initial currency because in the beginning there will be no market. If users want to speculate on there eventually being one, stocking up on tokens by using the site and winning auctions or by running a witness server will be smart.
We plan to have cross blockchain cooperation possible so users will be able to use our system as a sort of exchange if they want.
Anyway, this initial push is heavily tech based and we have people working on redesigning the logo and planning for a wider marketing campaign. This will include technical posts on various crypto websites as well as medium, Google/Facebook/Reddit/Steemit ads, and networking at conventions and crypto based events.
Some MORPH tokens will be deposited into every new account upon successful registration. This will not be the only version of free token giveaways we will run.
