بعد الانتقادات الكثيرة، قررت الحكومة الشروع في “تعويم الدرهم”، وذلك انطلاقا من يوم الاثنين المقبل (15 يناير).وقدم وزير الاقتصاد والمالية، محمد بوسعيد، عرضا خلال الاجتماع الأسبوعي لمجلس الحكومة، اليوم الجمعة (12 يناير)، أعلن فيه أن وزارته قررت، بعد تشاور مع بنك المغرب، اعتماد نظام صرف جديد للدرهم، انطلاقا من الاثنين المقبل.
وبذلك سيحدد سعر صرف الدرهم داخل نطاق تقلب نسبته +2.5 في المائة و-2.5 في المائة، وذلك عوض +0.3 في المائة و-0.3 في المائة المعمول به حاليا، وذلك حول سعر الصرف المحوري المحدد من طرف بنك المغرب على أساس سلة العملات المكونة من اليورو والدولار الأمريكي بنسب 60 و40 في المائة على التوالي، وهي السلة المعتمدة حاليا.

Ainsi, le taux de change du dirham sera fixé dans une fourchette de volatilité de +2,5% et 2,5%, au lieu des 0,3% et 0,3% actuels, autour du taux de change central établi par Bank Al-Maghrib le la base d'un panier de devises composé d'euros Et le dollar américain de 60 et 40 pour cent respectivement, le panier actuellement approuvé.
