أثار مسلسل الكارتون الأمريكي الشهير “عائلة سيمبسون” الكثير من الجدل بزعم أنه يتنبأ بما يحدث في المستقبل وهو المسلسل الذي عرضت حلقاته في فترة التسعينات واستطاعت التنبؤ بأحداث عدة في الواقع.
أولا نبدأ بمسلسل أحداث 11 سبتمبر.

حيت ان حلقة المسلسل بثت عام 1997 ظهرت بطلة الحلقة وتدعى ليزا ممسكة بمجلة كتب على غلافها كلمة نيويورك، بالإضافة إلى رقم 9 ورمز للبرجين يشير إلى رقم 11، وذلك قبل 4 سنوات من تفجيرات سبتمبر في 11-9-2001

في حلقة للمسلسل عرضت في عام 1994 كتب "دولف" شخصية بالمسلسل ملحوظته على هاتف ذكي يعمل باللمس ويحمل رمز "تفاحة"، وصنعت شركة أبل والتي تتخذ نفس الشعار أول هاتف يعمل باللمس عام 2000
