Marrakech is the best tourist city in Morocco
Marrakech is also called the Red City and the capital of the palms, the third largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco in terms of population density and located in the south-center. The population of the city is more than one million in 2016. The city was founded by Yusuf ibn Tashifin, which was named Ibn Yusuf's most famous school, in 1062 to be the capital of the state of Almoravidia.
