عملية النقش تبدأ بعد اختيار شكل الآنية المطلوب صنعها حيث ترسم الأشكال والنقوش بأقلام نقش فولاذية خاصة بهذه المهنة وبمساعدة المطرقة والسندان نطرق على خط الرسم إلى أن ينتهي شكل النقش ونحصل على الشكل المطلوب.
