Oh for the simpler times,
When joys could be found in simple things,
When worries did not interfere;
Who CARES what people think?

Now, our joys are stifled,
Hampered by social mores,
When just walking outside
With our feet without shoes
Brings comments from neighbors:
You shouldn’t be outdoors!
~
Learn to set your spirit free,
Unhindered by opinions and stares.
You only live once,
Cast off your restraints,
Throw away your cares!
Enjoy your life,
while you still can!
~
