That is a young moose, not quite a year old.
There is about five different moose I've seen
in the yard. Two come around most often is
the momma cow and junior calf 🐴
Howdy today shasta! oh how interesting. Well is looks like moose mostly eat bark but is there something else you can feed them to help out? Or maybe you don't want them in your yard even more!

I've seen moose eat many things, especially peoples gardens.
I see them eat the new growth areas on willows, they come
through and keep those trimmed.
Those snow holes can be a real problem, especially if you don't have boots on.
Totally, just got up to the top of the boots today lol

howdy shasta! oh so you're saying that you shouldn't feed them because they'll come and hang around eating anything like trees, plants and gardens?
