Where the deer & elk
are also welcome!
This moose was in my yard
late by night. His eyes were
bright on that Alaskan night.

Those snow holes can be a real problem, especially if you don't have boots on.
Totally, just got up to the top of the boots today lol

Love your moose images and beautiful gif @shasta It looks like he is tip-toeing through the snow with very deliberate steps. Love how his eyes glow in the dark too.
Thank you so much @trudeehunter! :-)
It's amazing how dainty they can step. That was
a trip to catch those eyes! lol
Oh yes......those eyes are incredible.
Howdy there shasta! Hey that moose looks like a good sized one, is it an adult? Is that a neighborhood moose?
Hello @janton! :-)
That is a young moose, not quite a year old.
There is about five different moose I've seen
in the yard. Two come around most often is
the momma cow and junior calf 🐴

Howdy today shasta! oh how interesting. Well is looks like moose mostly eat bark but is there something else you can feed them to help out? Or maybe you don't want them in your yard even more!
Good evening @janton, oh no you don't wanna feed them lol
I've seen moose eat many things, especially peoples gardens.
I see them eat the new growth areas on willows, they come
through and keep those trimmed.
howdy shasta! oh so you're saying that you shouldn't feed them because they'll come and hang around eating anything like trees, plants and gardens?
Oh no don't feed the meece lol
