To be completely honest, since finding STEEM two years ago, my love of gambling and my boldness in risk-taking have really driven me forward. No matter how much research, a lot of these crypto decisions involve faith, hope and risk.
Enter moonSTEEM
moonSTEEM is a provably fair gambling game on STEEM. The simple game offers players a chance to multiply their Steemies by predicting how high STEEM will go! (A Steemie is a millionth of a STEEM)
The game itself is incredibly exciting to play, especially for its level of simplicity. I'm always trying to figure out an auto-betting strategy that pays off over time :)

Ways to Earn with moonSTEEM
1. Play the Game - Without even making a deposit, you can simply upvote all posts from @moonsteem for some free Steemies to play with. Have discipline, and if you play smart, you can consistently gain some Steemies without breaking the bank!
2. Invest Your Steemies - moonSTEEM shares profits (and losses) with players based on several different areas of contribution. One of the best ways to receive a greater profit share is to invest some of your Steemies. This is like betting on the house!
As you can see from the above image, my profits from investing Steemies greatly exceed my profits from actually playing the game. That's a pretty good share from an investment of 50 STEEM!
3. Earn Some Referrals - Direct referrals seem like the best way to earn a greater share of the profits. From the bets my affiliates have made, I've earned about the same as if I'd invested 100 STEEM.
4. Timing is Everything - The Steemies that are generated from the Profits/Losses percent are kept in a special wallet from which they must be withdrawn to be playable in the game. The amount of Steemies in that balance depends on the overall profits and losses of the game at that moment. Withdraw when the house is up and you win!
5. Delegation - Another way to get some more of that share is to delegate Steem Power to the @moonsteem account. While writing this post, I delegated 200 SP, and this is the result...
I got another .06%. Once I turn some more of those zeros into numbers, I should be able to scrape a pretty decent little residual income out of moonSTEEM, still knowing that I'm supporting a great project!
Conclusion
In this brave new crypto world, investment is the smartest way to gamble. Play smart, support the up and coming winners, and together we'll have a nice, soft landing on the moon!

My point exactly! :D I love games where you can effectively bet on the house. This is one of those games... If I can only resist the urge to foolishly gamble lol. I love the investment option, and referrals are working out well so far. I actually really like this game :D

I just feel like it's a good DAPP to promote. :) It's also nice to imagine STEEM going to the moon over and over. Between you and me, all my extra STEEM is reserved for monsters ;) With moonSTEEM, I hope to generate more to buy monsters... that's the dream.

How are you doing in the game? I just keep losing all of my Steemies. It was cool to earn them just by upvoting their posts, but I feel like it's easy to just lose everything. That's how I feel about the other gambling games too, really. I play them kind of hoping I can make a little money for Steem Monsters, but I really never get anything out of it.
For me, the game is getting my p/l percent up as high as I can, then withdrawing when it's in the positive. Everything that comes from profit/loss rewards has to go through the playable Steemies before it can be withdrawn into actual STEEM.
This is like the way a casino makes you walk through a labyrinth of slots and table games just to get to your room ;) Until I figure out a sustainable auto-bet, it's best if I invest and avoid playing the game too often.
In the betting part of the game, I've had the most luck with betting low at a high multiplier. I'm not sure where the sweet spot is, but an auto-bet of 300 cashing out at 25x was working good for me last night. Was about 30,000 up in three or four hours of play.
Thanks! Yeah, I have some things to learn about it still, because I'm trying to bet and basically just losing all of my Steemies. I haven't really deposited much, though. I've just upvoted their comments to get Steemies.
