What if The Moon was made of Gold so if you minus all the conspiracies and alien anomalies we got ourselves a what if. The Golden Moon would shine very bright in our Earthly skies and it would be a very beautiful sight.

The Moon that is made of gold will have seven times the gravity of the current Moon. Astronauts traveling to the Moon would weigh more than that even on the Earth. The Moon would probably also contain a more atmosphere for it would have more gravity. The world would look very different because of the seven times higher gravitational pull of the Moon. The waves would be five to seven times stronger than they are now that could flood coastal cities. The Earth's crust will also be higher due to the pull of the gravity of the Moon. The Earth's crust floats on the magma ocean mantle. Life on Earth would evolve very differently but however, let's say that man evolved anyway. The early man that looked up at the gold Moon always wondered what the Moon was. The ancients that fought over gold would have a mission to get to the Moon as it would have innumerable amounts of gold and would make any king very rich. The kings would not have any way of getting to the Moon but they would invest heavily in making a journey to the Moon. The voyages to the Moon would occur a lot earlier due to the profit-driven agenda. Early men would have to wait very long to invent the technology to visit the gold Moon. Landing on the Moon would be easy but getting off it would require more thrust of the rocket. The technology needed for colonizing the gold Moon would be a lot different than the current technology. The world would have an arms race that could fuel the world's economy and technology so it can help reach the Moon. Even if the greedy kings find a way to the gold Moon they would have to set colonies there. The gold colonies would be strictly for mining and for business for most of the gold will be sent back to Earth. The Earth's economy will rise as other colonies start to settle on the gold Moon. The few kings who made it to the gold Moon became as powerful as the USA and USSR. The Earth's economy soon became saturated with gold and so the value of gold dropped down. The rich kings soon went to war with each other so a world war occurs. The gold Moon would have been attracting ETs from all over the universe, so the gold Moon would have been snatched up entirely. The gold moon would be very rare in all the universe because it's not really possible for it to exist in the first place. The gold moon cannot exist as the single gold element it would have had other elements on it. Gold binds to iron so it would be impossible for an entirely gold moon to exist. Gold was formed during the formation of Earth as molten iron sank to the center of the core. The Earth's core contains enough gold to cover the entire Earths surface. Gold is also produced in highly energetic events such as supernovas, so this could occur as long as other elements are present on the gold Moon

In short, a gold moon would be very beautiful sight yet even though it gives rise to tides that are five to seven times stronger and taller. The gold moon would give greedy rich kings a goal to reach the moon as fast as possible. The Earth's economy would boom as it grows with gold yet it would enter world war as it becomes saturated with gold and loses value. there are many trillions of stars and planets that exist and could this be possible somewhere in the cosmos perhaps, but the likelihood of gold existing as the sole element is unlikely.
