This sounds like an exciting challenge! I have two questions tho. 1) Can authors from outside CN join? 2) Can it start today or that has to be on the 1st of February?
This is from steemitboard.com. I don't see any restrictions on region from their description
You can start anytime but they only count from start of a month.
