I know there are different types of potatoes but I wasn’t aware of the different names. I didn’t know there are more than a few types and each type can be used for cooking different dishes. Recently, in the Fairprice Supermart at Changi Business Hub, I saw this sign hanging there giving shoppers a lesson on potatoes. I thought it is a good idea although technically potatoes are not vegetables.😎

这还真的不知道呢。。。原来马铃薯还有种类。
还很多种呢。
涨知识了，看到这个同事也想起我家闺女，每次让说土豆时必须要加上马铃薯，说马铃薯必须加上土豆，o(￣︶￣)o
这我可没听过。新加坡通常都叫马铃薯。
I usually buy Russet.
Actually, I learn that word only when I lived in Kansas City, MO. They are like most easily found and cheapest :-)

I love potatoes. I am Polish so we eat potatoes all the time and I still love them. Probably my favorite vegetable.

The month challenge starts counting from 1st day of the month.
I found out in mid-December after I started but I continued and treat it as warm up :-)
You have much reason dear friend @ ace108 there are many varieties of potatoes, in Peru there are 5000 varieties of potatoes, perhaps the country with the greatest varieties.
