Montemarcello ("I borghi più belli d'Italia")

Last sunday we gone to visit Montemarcello, close to Ameglia, province of La Spezia, in the italian region of Liguria. It is close to the motorway's exit (motorway A12, Genova - Livorno). We arrived from Carrara, the mountain where Montemarcello is, is visible from the beach of Marina di Carrara, looking to north. To arrive from Marina di Carrara, follow the indications for Bocca di Magra and then for Montemarcello - Lerici. Now you climbing the mountain for some kms, with awesome panoramas on the sea, with the island of Tino and Tinello. It is one of the "Borghi più belli d'Italia". Worth a visit.
