Parts of the company will be absorbed by Bayer and BASF. Both of these companies are former components of IG Farben, the chemical conglomerate that worked so closely with the Nazis during WW2, creating magnetic audio tape and Zyklon B for the Third Reich, with just a little bit of help from some slave labor at the Buna Werke facility at Auschwitz.
