It's not all Monsanto's fault but it mostly is. Our farming practices suck and our number one crop in the USA is grass. :(
I have some apple trees, raspberries, blueberries chives, grapes, asparagus but my yard is still over 90% grass. :(
We do till farming which kills the soil and probably helps create deserts and we raise unhealthy animals and eat them.
