Black & White Photography - The Activities of the Fishermen
Hello Steemians
This time I will share the activities of the fishermen in my area. Traditional fishermen on the coast of Gaguong (village) Hagu Teungoh and Ujong Blang, Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City, still continue to preserve the land trawl (net) tradition, to catch fish in the sea, as the main source of income for daily family needs.
This trawl is also the only productive sector for hundreds of fishermen in the coastal areas of Lhokseumawe City, especially to respond to the economic chaos of the small fishermen in the two coastal villages.
Interesting land trawl activities on the shores of the Straits of Malacca can be found every day. They move from dawn until late afternoon. The catch fish is sold directly to the fresh fish hunter community, whereas if at any time the catches are abundant it is supplied to the market in Lhokseumawe City.
Catches sometimes overflow are often absent, but we persevere, especially since there is no other reliable job as a source of income to meet the daily needs of the family.
According to him, one of the fishermen I interviewed, catching fish in the sea using land trawlers, especially in the coastal areas of Lhokseumawe City, has been passed down from generation to generation, until now the local community is still preserving this trawl.
This trawler also has a big contribution, especially in answering the economic problems faced by small fishermen, even though the daily income is still classified as very, very small.
On the other hand, there are many people in Lhokseumawe City every day looking for fresh fish caught by trawlers by the coast to this beach. The fish caught by land trawlers are still fresh. Activities such as daily diving by fishermen who live on the coast.
Here are some pictures of the activities of the fishermen that I took using a Canon M100 camera. I have also edited this image using the Adobe Ligthroom application.
This post is my entry on the #monomad photography challenge held by @monochromes.

Hey there @my451r!
I hope that someday, I'll perform some fishing activity. However, I like your review but I found some sentences difficult to understand. I suggest you always proofread your contribution before posting it. You could even use grammarly.
That being said, thanks for contributing to the realityhubs community. I appreciate.
