Somewhere behind the clouds. - 📸 - for #MonoMad - Sunday - Skies
Hi, friends! The clouds were so big from the heaviness that it seemed they would fall to the tops of the trees. But, at some point, this wadded heavenly blanket suddenly began to be torn in different directions and somewhere behind the clouds the sun seemed.

Beautiful pics! I love how the light in the center works behind the clouds, it's really an inspiring scene!
After that, it took a couple of seconds and the sun blinded me, coming out of the clouds. Continue to take pictures was impossible, heh

Very atmospheric photograph @madlenfox. Did these clouds turn to rain?
no :). We don't have rain yet. We are very happy about that. All of may and now the beginning of June, we live with no rain at all. These clouds come for a while and go to other regions of the country. There are showers and thunderstorms in some of them.
We've also had very little rain this May and June @madlenfox. We had a couple of rolls of thunder and a few short heavy downpours but nothing much to speak of. 😊
That's good, I think :), because there is a completely different season for the rains - autumn, heh. Now I want warmth and sun.
Your name-foggy Albion-is it justified?
I've never heard of foggy Albion before. 😁
I know Americans often think of London as foggy but nowadays I would say fog is pretty rare. In the industial age we used to get a lot of smog I believe so maybe that's where the idea came from.
i can't remember the last time I actually saw any fog. Mist perhaps but not fog. Maybe I just don't live in a very foggy part of the country! 😁
😁we in Russia have a strong idea about this. We think you have most of the time the rains and fogs. Here's an example of one of the quotes: "Albion is the ancient name of the British Isles. The word is of Celtic origin. Under this name, modern England was known to the ancient Greeks. In Celtic, the word " Albus "meant" mountains", but in Latin – "white". What does the prefix "foggy"? It's very simple-the island is constantly shrouded in sea fog. It is so thick that completely paralyzes traffic, and people are even afraid to take a step to avoid getting lost in the familiar streets.Thick fogs in England are not uncommon, it is a business card of the country, so their description is found in many works of British writers." well, I imagine it's like this. :)
That is complete rubbish as I trust my photographs will have shown!
We have an idea in Britain that Russians are told a lot of information that isn't true. 😂
This idea that we are constantly shrouded in fog seems to up that idea. 😂
But, as I said in my earlier comment I've had Americans ask me the same thing. A friend of mine told me that she learned about England, when she was a child, through reading the Sherlock Holmes books.
Maybe fog appears in a lot of books of that era to add an air of mystery to the story. Then people think that's how it really is.
And, as I mentioned, I think it was worse in Victorian times because of the industrialisation.
You have me on a mission now @madlenfox. The first time I see some genuine fog I will take a photograph for you and post it! You might have to wait a while though. 😁
