I really enjoy black and white photos. This one you posted is really excellent. Great composition, and the balcony shadows really put it over the top-fantastic.
The large balcony stands out against the background of the building, because it seems to violate symmetry!)

Cool pic, but they store corn in it???
Now there are ultra-modern flats i nside. But from its typical building-style and as it is located direct next to river spree I am guessing that it has been used for.
