PATEROS DUCKS
Pateros ducks or native ducks, or locally known as "itik," are Filipinos favorite ducks to grow, not just for its meat but above all for its eggs! Itik's eggs are bigger and harder than chicken's eggs, and it also have dark yellow yolks. Their eggs are also used to make salted eggs. Yum, yum!
We had a chance to visit a foreign friend who accepts visit from time to time to discuss a Bible verse or two, and he has these livestocks in his yard.
We had fun feeding them, especially our little one! He was a bit afraid, but mustered up courage to do so. I was so happy seeing that! It's priceless.
They have ducks, turkeys, and goats too! What a lovely day it was. I'm glad we came.
This is all for now.
