Following the change of rules to @brumest's daily monomad photography contest there are no longer any specific themes to follow each day which is just as well since this photograph didn't really fit any of the categories.

Once upon a time I visited a charity shop and saw a table covered with bags full of used stamps.
Oooooo thinks I. I could make me some nice art works with those or, at the very least, a few greetings cards.
So I bought them and brought them home.
When I opened the bag there were rather a lot more than I thought. They'd been squashed down somewhat. No problem though. That just means there's more to work with, right?
Hmmm. I spent about a week soaking off the paper, laying them out to dry and then sorting them into colours. And then, surprise surprise, I began to loose interest. 😂
So now I have a number of little boxes full of stamps and sorted in colours and a bag of stamps that still need to be sorted.

One day, maybe, I'll finish the sorting and then I'll just need a bit of inspiration and then I'll be off . . . or not! 😁
Stamps are a lot of fun! And colourful! My Human is a stamp collector, but a lot of the very common ones are sorted by colour and used in scrapbooking and art projects.

I'm often surprised at which of my photographs draw people in @tattoodjay. I almost didn't post this one as it's not one of my favourites but I liked the story behind it.
The rules for monomad are pretty much the same except it's now "anything goes" and there are hints that people who upvote may be looked upon more favourably. 😁

The bag of stamps was worth it just for that photo ;) I collected stamps when I was little. I think I sold them all off though...hmmm where would they be if I still had them. Maybe I should call Mom

The colour photograph isn't actually that interesting @cryptocariad although I thought that about the black and white one and a number of people seem to have liked it! 😁
