Monomad Decaying Gate
Returning to Nature
Since there is no longer a specific theme for @brumest's daily monomad photography contest I chose this image to enter today.
I love the decaying nature of this gate and garden generally. The paint is flaking off and the lichen is beginning to take over, the steps are full of weeds and the flower beds are running wild.

This is such a hauntingly beautiful photo. There is something so amazing to me about photos that capture antiquity and decay!
