Do not ask me what is that plant, as I have no idea. The fluffy seeds remind me of Clematis - one of the coolest seeds with long fluffy hair around.
But the white balls is some bush that grows typically around parks. At least in Poland.
It might as well be two plants so mingled together that it looks as one.

I shot those in the last days of very cold December day. When the days are so short you have to hurry to get something decent before it gets dark. The day starts to have that calm, evening feel at 3 pm. The air slowly turns grey, birds go silent... and that is it.
I kind of like those. Not the very short day, but that moment when it is not day anymore, but not very dark yet... add some fog and it's my fav time of the day.
